And we missed it! The banquet was at the end of January 2009 but please join me in congratulating Shawn on a great junior XC season for Philadelphia University. He has come out and run with the guys on numerous occasions and continues to be passionate about the health of the PVIXC program. According to this article, Shawn got the chance to be honored in the company of Charlie Manuel, Brad Lidge, and Eagles cornerback Sheldon Brown. Not bad.
Shawn found his way there by setting two school records in the 8k and 10k, earning All-Conference honors for the third consecutive year, and finishing third overall at the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Championships. A belated congratulations from all of PVIXC.
