Coach Bonnette,
I am Ryan Anderson’s (Class of 1996) father. He recently turned me on to this site. Great job!!!
I wouldn’t be Ryan’s father if I didn’t point out that both Ryan and Greg Blaszko also made All South Jersey Honors in 1994 in addition to John Williams and Joe DiGiacomo. Ryan also was the lone PVI representative for All South Jersey his senior year in 1995.
Ryan and your brother had some great races against each other. I have to say I miss watching those races.
Keep up the good work. It’s great to see the program finally coming back.Looks like you have some real promising underclassmen.
Sincerely,
Mark Anderson

Nice website!
Two additions to the All-South Jersey selections: Tom Metzger (1984) & John Wolfram (1985).
Good luck with the program, Coach. We’re pulling for ya.

I just read (along with our coach and 3 other on the team)the book “The Streak” and it was a great book! It’s amazing that your school has a rich histroy of XC! I run for a Grp.2 school called Del Val, we were not to good last year but went 10-0 , and most likely be at 22-0 at the end of the season, and this year we are one of the better teams in the Skyland Conf/Grp.2 this year.
But after reading the Streak what is your guys current streak at?
Thanks

Our streak unfortunately was lost in 2007 to our conference rivals Camden Catholic. It ended a string of over 250 wins since 1979. We have since started a new one. I am glad you enjoyed Coach Enright’s book. It is certainly a rich and detailed history of what is Paul VI XC.

Can anybody provide info as to what Jason DiJoseph’s PR may have been for the old 2.9 mile course at Belmont Plateau (Fairmount Park) in Philly? The info I heard was that it was around 14:13 and that it was run during his senior year (Fall 1988) at either the Philly Textile meet or perhaps the St. Joe’s Invitational.
Thanks in advance.
Mike
